Over the next few weeks, the kindergarten students are becoming scientists. They are observing the world around them, asking questions, conducting experiments, and predicting their outcomes. Right now we have three experiments happening in the lab. First, the students are wondering where the best place is to germinate lima beans. In the dark, in the cold, in the sunlight, or indirect sunlight? Next, they are wondering if Indian Corn will germinate if they soak it in water. Finally, what solids will dissolve? All of these questions have led the students to design and conduct experiments, and they are busy observing the results each week. It is very exciting to see what will happen!
