The students are continuing their roles as civil engineers. Last week, the students created models that replicated water erosion over long periods of time. Each group created landforms, and observed the changes as water slowly eroded the land. This week, the students will research other types of erosion. The students will use the iPad minis and the QR code above to find many useful websites and videos.
Each class surveyed the campus recently, looking for evidence of erosion. The students put on their "civil engineer" hats, and documented their observations, asked questions, and hypothesized. How will erosion affect our campus? Here is a slide show highlighting the evidence they found. |
