The kindergarten students have become engineers this quarter in the STEM Lab. As engineers, they have been solving storybook character's problems, by building something new, or improving it. They began by designing and creating a back scratcher for Big Smelly Bear. Next, they designed and created a bridge that was tall enough for the troll. Recently, they completed a chair for Peter. Currently, the students are working on a structure that Big Frog can fit into comfortably. Each challenge includes criteria that the groups must meet in order for the final prototype to be STEMtastic. What a quarter it has been!
